Dr. King helped our son tremendously. He has refused to talk to counselors in the past but she was easy for him to talk to. She helped me and his father learn how to work with him to get him to cooperate with us. Our house runs a lot more smoothly now. We recommend her highly.

A wonderful psycologist. She helped us with both of our boys who were fighting all the time and making our home so unhappy. We learned alot about how to discipline the right way and how to change our boys behavior for good not just for a few hours.
A grateful mom.

Another opinion. We have two sons with autism. Dr King evaluated both of them. She worked with their schools to get them an IEP. She was contacted by social security and sent her report which resulted in us getting benefits for them. She was very professional. We dont know what we would have done without her.

On Friday Nov. 30th I notified Dr King that Sat Dec 1st would be our last session with her and my son. The purpose of our sessions was solely to have my 9 y.o. son evaluated for Autism Spectrum Disorder. We had visited with her twice before and she never spent any real time with our son (who she was evaluating). She only asked us to fill out questionnaire about his behavior. I lost trust in her abilities to diagnose him. I had asked Dr King for a written evaluation for my son, which I could give to his school so I could request special resources for him due to his Autism.

Dr King must have been offended that I was ending any further visits. When I arrived to our final session with my son we were 5 minutes early and waited in the waiting room. At that point it was apparent Dr King never intended to fulfill our scheduled appt. She approached us in her waiting room, not leading us into her office as she had done before. She handed me the written evaluation for the school, asked me to read it, then left the room. Five minutes later she asked if I had any questions regarding the evaluation. I didn't so i said "no". I expected her to ask us into her office to finish the appt to discuss the rest of the previously filled out evaluation questionnaires and information about community resources for him. I was confused when she didn't, she simply dismissed me and my son, abruptly ending our appt. She later sent me a letter by mail (which I received Dec 4th) saying that she was not going to bill my insurance for that session but that I would be responsible for the entire amount of the appt. She stated that she would bill the appt as a "late cancellation".

Dr King has been VERY unprofessional, when I called to discuss this erroneous billing issue she hung up on me, I then had to leave a message on her phone and email her. I could not let this go since I feel this is wrongful. She wasted our time, she did not directly evaluate our son but only had us fill out questionnaires at home. She cannot expect me to pay for a "late cancellation" for I didn't miss the appt, she merely ended it only after 5-10 minutes of me in her waiting room. I feel wronged by her unprofessional attitude and her devious attempt to charge me for an appt she cancelled on me. Is there any way to contest this? Are there any repercussions against wrongly acts by licensed professional?
