Dr. Nolan Jepsen has been a part of the Mountain View Eye Center since 1998. He enjoys seeing and helping patients of all ages (babies to mature adults). Along with helping patients with primary eye care needs, Dr. Jepsen is the office contact lens specialist. He is very skilled at fitting contact lenses and treating problems caused by contact lens wear; even the hardest of the ‘hard-to-fit’ contact lens wearers.

Previous to practicing, he attended Utah State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. While studying at USU, Dr. Jepsen was heavily involved in activities and associations with foreign students, and was awarded the President’s Diversity Award in recognition of his efforts.

After finishing at Utah State University, Dr. Jepsen attended Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon for his graduate studies. During his education, he elected to do specialized work in Seattle with a pediatric population, and contact lens training at the Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah, in Salt Lake City. Having completed his training, Dr. Jepsen received his Doctor of Optometry degree with distinction.

When not at work, Dr. Jepsen enjoys activities with his wife and four children that include camping, mountain biking, home video editing, and yard work. He is known for his clever humor, sincerity, and patience towards those he works with. Dr. Jepsen is looking forward to serving you for your eye care needs.
